DESCRIPTION:I’ve invited Jill Kettler back to the studio for another wonderful day of weaving and learning. You’ve seen her work in many local art festivals and you KNOW you love it as much as I do. I have been coveting one of her amazing creations for a very long time. Her sense of color and texutre are amazing. Now\, you can spend time with her and learn the art of rigid heddle weaving from the master\, all while creating your own beautiful lace scarf. Jill will have looms pre-warped and ready to weave. You’ll go home with a lot more knowledge and a GORGEOUS new scarf.  \nSeating is very limited\, so sign up to reserve your seat. There are no RSVPs for this class. Once your registration is complete\, there are no refunds or cancellations. If you cannot attend\, you may transfer your registration to another student. You may contact Christy to see if there is a waiting list\, but all transfers will be the students’ responsibility. \nIf you find yourself hopelessly addicted to rigid heddle weaving at the end of class (it IS highly possible)\, Jill has looms for sale!! \nProof of full vaccination including booster(s) must be emailed to Christy prior to class. SUMMARY:Geli Plate Printing Intensive - Holiday Cards
DESCRIPTION:Learn how fun it is to print with a geli plate. This process is SO much fun that you’ll be buried under a pile of prints before you know it. We’ll explore process\, color\, layering\, and texture and print until we’re printed out. Then\, turn your prints into fun and original holiday cards. Your family and friends will be amazed when you send them the coolest hand made cards they have ever received. This process is so fun and addictive that even my husband enjoys it! Using gelatine plates as printing plates\, we will employ paint\, brayers\, stencils\, and brushes to create wonderfully colorful and textured papers to use in our card making. Students will receive 10 cards\, envelopes\, and sealing stickers to get them started with their holidy list.  We’ll be making a LOT of prints\, so you’ll have plenty of material to take home and continue your card making and mixed media art. \nIf you have stencils you love\, bring them!! You can use them in your prints. DESCRIPTION:We keep having so much fun with our shibori classes that we should totally do it again!! Join me for a November session of blue blue blue. I’ll teach you all about shibori dyeing including traditional folding methods\, easy dye bath composition\, and process. This. Is. Addictive. Truly. We’ll do some practice work on floursack towels for your kitchen\, and then you can you’ll have the option to do a larger piece. You’ll have sooo much fun. And\, you’ll probably end up with blue somewhere. Wear your ‘creative clothes’ and bring an old towel\, because this is messy!! If you’re getting rid of some old towels\, the studio is accepting a few towel donations. Turns out we do a LOT of messy stuff!! DESCRIPTION:As part of my Super Fun-Filled 50th Birthday Month\,  I’ve invited Jill Kettler back to the studio for another wonderful day of weaving and learning. You’ve seen her work in many local art festivals and you KNOW you love it as much as I do. I have been coveting one of her amazing creations for a very long time. Her sense of color and texutre are amazing. Now\, you can spend time with her and learn the art of rigid heddle weaving from the master\, all while creating your own beautiful lace scarf. Jill will have looms pre-warped and ready to weave. You’ll go home with a lot more knowledge and a GORGEOUS new scarf.  \nSeating is very limited\, so sign up to reserve your seat.
