DESCRIPTION:We keep having so much fun with our shibori classes that we should do it again and again!! Join me for a late summer session of blue blue blue. I’ll teach you all about shibori dyeing including traditional folding methods\, easy dye bath composition\, and process. This. Is. Addictive. Truly. We’ll do some practice work on floursack towels for your kitchen\, and then you’ll have the option to do a larger piece. You’ll have sooo much fun. And\, you’ll probably end up with blue somewhere. Wear your ‘creative clothes’ and bring an old towel\, because this is messy!! If you’re getting rid of some old towels\, the studio is accepting a few towel donations. Turns out we do a LOT of messy stuff!! Bring a lunch/snack – refrigerator available. Learn the art of rigid heddle weaving from the master\, all while creating your own beautiful fall inspired placemats. Jill will have looms pre-warped and ready to weave. Then you will learn an easy method to apply your pillow face to a pillow! \nFor those who have purchased a loom from Jill\, she is offering an hour warping lesson before class for $15. Please choose the Weaving with Warping Lesson ticket. \nSeating is very limited\, so sign up to reserve your seat. Once your registration is complete\, there are no refunds. If you cannot attend\, you may transfer your registration to another student. You may contact Christy to see if there is a waiting list\, but all transfers will be the students’ responsibility. \n  \nIf you find yourself hopelessly addicted to rigid heddle weaving at the end of class (it IS highly possible)\, Jill has looms for sale!! \nNo experience necessary.
