(You only need to do this once) You can text it to 314-922-6576 or email it to christy@christymac.com \nI will have a still life set up for people to draw or paint from. And\, as always\, if you have a project you’d rather work on\, bring that. I will help you through it. \nAnyone who has not attended one of my classes can show up with a canvas or canvas board and use my paints/brushes. That’s a great way to try out painting without spending a lot of $$ ahead of time. \nMy studio is located at 112 W. Market Street in Troy\, ILYou can street park in front of the studio. Please do not park in the lot at the brick building.

DESCRIPTION:Watercolor Batik with Linda Rawson –\nSiesta Key\nJoin us in learning the wax-resist process of batik! In 3 hours\, you will create a 9 x 12 painting on Ginwashi rice paper using the batik process. After transferring a line drawing to the paper\, you will layer watercolor and wax on the rice paper\, finishing it by removing the wax with newspaper and a household iron. All Supplies are Provided! \n*Custom cut mats available for $5 extra. Batik tools and supplies also available for purchase. \nSo that everyone can be comfortable in the knowledge that everyone else is vaccinated\, all students must send me a photo of their vaccination card prior to class.
