Warhol-iday Blotted Line Technique (holiday cards!)

Join me for an afternoon of channeling Andy Warhol for the holidays! Did you know that Andy created holiday cards for major department stores? And, the cards were pretty amazing. We’ll take his blotted ink transfer technique and learn how to use it to create amazing artwork. We’ll make some fun and funky art that will make the coolest hipster holiday cards. It’s such a fun technique, and it can be used for all sorts of images. Learn the technique and then use it for all of the holidays and incorporate it into all of your art. We will use ink and watercolor, learn some things we might not have known about Andy and explore this fun technique with an eye toward using it to make your own holiday greeting cards.
