Valentine Gel Prints

If you've always wanted to try gel plate printing, this class is a great introduction. If you have no idea what gel plate printing is, you're going to be amazed. Using acrylic paint and various tools and stencils we will ink up these plates and print the images on paper. You will learn a foundation for gel plate monoprinting, and ways of introducing texture, color, layers, and line. Then we will print some abstract Valentine themed images. These will be suitable for framing or collaging. You won't be able to stop. You will go home with a bunch of prints and the knowledge to not only create amazing monoprints but to begin exploring the vast possibilities with gel plates.
