Gelatin Plate Pet Portraits

If you've always wanted to try gel plate printing, this class is a great introduction. I will demo monoprinting techniques and a couple of image transfer techniquesa. Then we will print abstract interpretations of our favorite furry friends (or our friends' furry friends if we are pet-less). You will learn a foundation for gel plate printing, ways of introducing texture, color, layers, and line.

You will go home with a bunch of prints and the knowledge to not only create amazing monoprints but to begin exploring the vast possibilities with gel plates. Look for even more gel plate printing classes in September!

You must send me photos of your pet by 10/17.
