Geli Plate Printing Intensive – Holiday Cards

Learn how fun it is to print with a geli plate. This process is SO much fun that you'll be buried under a pile of prints before you know it. We'll explore process, color, layering, and texture and print until we're printed out. Then, turn your prints into fun and original holiday cards. Your family and friends will be amazed when you send them the coolest hand made cards they have ever received. This process is so fun and addictive that even my husband enjoys it! Using gelatine plates as printing plates, we will employ paint, brayers, stencils, and brushes to create wonderfully colorful and textured papers to use in our card making. Students will receive 10 cards, envelopes, and sealing stickers to get them started with their holidy list.  We'll be making a LOT of prints, so you'll have plenty of material to take home and continue your card making and mixed media art.

If you have stencils you love, bring them!! You can use them in your prints. If you have a favorite holiday sentiment stamp, you can bring that as well and use it to put text on your cards.

So that everyone can be comfortable in the knowledge that everyone else is vaccinated, all students must send me a photo of their vaccination card prior to class. (You only need to do this once) You can text it to 314-922-6576 or email it to [email protected]
